Frank Holik was born on November 2, 1917, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, June 29, 2006, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Frank, the son of Joseph and Frances Teresa Navaritil Holik, was a life-long resident of Lincoln county. He married Pansy Kate Conley on December 7, 1946. She preceded him in death on January 9, 2003. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base and was a member of the ZCBJ Lodge #46. After retirement Frank enjoyed farming, fishing and playing his musical instruments. His parents, 7 brothers, and 3 sisters also preceded Frank in death. Survivors include, daughter Nancy Ann Myers of Joplin, Missouri, grandchildrenBriggitta Thuma of Neck City, Missouri, Sara Clemmons of Joplin, Missouri, Veronica Dostal of Joplin, Missouri, great-grandchildren Kristin, Jackie, Katrina, Sierra, Megan, Walter John, Kimberly Abigail Dawn, Michael, Sara Nichole, and Christopher, 3 Great-great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
