Frank Dee Dodson

Frank Dee Dodson, age 75, of Harrah, OK, was born August 27, 1940, in Byars, Oklahoma. He was the son of Vester Roy & Dorothy Mae (Harper) Dodson. He left this life on Thursday, October 29, 2015, in Oklahoma City, OK. Frank attended New Hope Elementary and Bethel Schools. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He did a tour in Germany and two tours in Vietnam. Frank was a member of the VFW in Shawnee. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing and loved baseball and basketball. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ronald Gary Dodson and Terry Wayne Dodson and one sister, Mary Belle Leach. He is survived by his daughter, Francis Dee Dodson, Harrah, OK; 1 granddaughter & husband, Toni Dion Lackey & Ryan Jacob Lackey, McLoud, OK; brother, Jim Ray Dodson, Oklahoma City, OK; 4 sisters & brothers-in-law, Peggy Ann Spoon, Tecumseh, OK, Evelyn & John Joyce, Dickson, OK, Vestia Charlene & Dale Yates, Orlando, FL, Ethel Raines, Shawnee, OK many other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Monday, November 2, 2015, at McLoud Riverside Cemetery, McLoud, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
