Frances Regina Roberts

Frances Regina Kuestersteffen Roberts, age 92 of McLoud, OK was born on March 2, 1915, at Sacred Heart, OK to Kasper F. & Theresa Hillerman Kuestersteffen. She attended St. Mary?s Academy at Sacred Heart. She departed this life on April 10, 2007 in Harrah, OK. Frances married Eskell F. Roberts on January 30, 1945. Together they raised their children in Shawnee and later retired to their cabin at Lake Eufaula. Frances worked as a cook, clerk and later as a public accountant; but, her family and her church were most important in her life. She enjoyed watching birds, television and people. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Donald & Thomas; two brothers; four sisters and one grandchild, Jamie Roberts. Survivors include son, James Roberts and his wife, Cora of Spring, TX; daughter, Linda Ferrell and husband, Gary of McLoud; daughter-in-law, Linda Roberts of McLoud; eight grandchildren, Lisa Tippin, Becky Roberts, John Roberts, Marla Mills, Michael Ferrell, Margaret McClure, Bart Ferrell and Ellen Ferrell; one great grandchild, Madison McClure and many other relatives and friends. Donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. A Wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 12, 2007, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, McLoud, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 13, 2007, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, McLoud, with Father Adrian Vorderlandwehr, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah.
