Frances Dugger

Frances (Fipps) Dugger was born on November 14, 1926, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, March 12, 2010, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. Frances, the daughter of Clyde Monroe and Edna Ruth (McElhannon)Fipps, was a resident of Paden. She married Edward A. Dugger in Ponca City, Oklahoma in 1959. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1987. Ed and Frances owned Dugger Manufacturing, which at one time was the oldest refrigeration company in Oklahoma. She was of the Episcopal faith. Frances was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include step-daughter and son-in-law, Diana and J.D. LeBeouf of Bethany; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam and Verna Fipps of Paden, Corky and Skeet Fipps of Paden, Geary and Donna Fipps of Paden; sister and brother-in-law, Cricket and Lynn Short of Paden; grandchildren, 3; great-grandchildren, 9; great great-grandchildren, 1. Frances family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Monday, March 15, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Paul Heard officiating. Interment will follow at the Paden Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
