Frances Dorene Tapp

Frances Dorene Tapp was born on April 6, 1934, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, March 9, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. Dorene, the daughter of August Leo and Johnie Mae (McCann) Martin, was a life-long resident of Paden. She graduated from Paden High School and attended business school. She married Walter A. Tapp on March 9, 1956 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1987. Dorene was a homemaker and a member of the Paden Church of Christ. Her parents, two brothers, and one sister also preceded Dorene in death. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Randy Collins of Paden; son, Terry L. Tapp of Prague; brother and sister-in-law, Marcus and Mavis Martin of Paden; sister, Barbara Stone of Paden; grandchildren, Jamie and Heather Tapp, Dennis Tapp, Ryan Tapp, Lucas Tapp, Matthew and Christa Collins, Emily and Jared Marrel; one great-granddaughter, Kamdyn Tapp; ther relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 10:00, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Leroy Young officiating. Interment will follow at the Paden Cemetery.
