Forrest Ambrose “Frosty” Lee was born on January 30, 1918, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 96. Frosty, the son of Thomas R. and Magdalena (Engel) Lee, was a resident of Meeker. He married Marie Edith (Wengler) Lee on May 29, 1947, in California and they remained married until her death in 2003. He then married Julia (Horner) Lee on April 9, 2004. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a carpenter. Frosty enjoyed hunting and fishing, being outdoors, dancing, and RV’ing. His parents, first wife, Marie Lee, four brothers, Tom, John, Fred and Wayne Lee, and three sisters, Elizabeth Galloway, Mary Judd and Catherine Lee preceded Frosty in death. Survivors include: his wife of 10 years, Julia Lee of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Wanda Lee of Meeker; sister, Dorothy O’Brien of Sparks; other family and friends. A wake service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 7:00 PM at Saint Michael Catholic Church in Meeker. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Saint Michael Catholic Church in Meeker with Reverend Father Price M. Oswalt, K.C.H.S. officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
