Floyd Junior Dearmond

Floyd Junior DeArmond, age 84, of Harrah, OK, was born on December 1, 1925, in Norman, OK. He was the son of Jesse Hughes & Dovie Ellen (Eubank) DeArmond. He left this life on Sunday, April 11, 2010, in Del City, OK. Floyd married Melba Ruth Johnson on May 17, 1945, in Yuma, Arizona. He retired from Tinker AFB where he was a welding supervisor. Floyd was a member of the D.A.V. He enjoyed fishing and playing the fiddle at the Senior Center. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Melba Ruth & Flora Dunham, two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Anthony & Katy DeArmond, Harrah, OK; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Sharon & Allen Dyer, Harrah, OK, Connie & Monte Morast, Denton, TX; 7 grandchildren, Kristin & Martin Trerise, Neil & Tiffani DeArmond, Kara & Aaron Wynn, Nathan & Jessica Dyer, Lindsey & Mike Munson, Monte & Gretchen Morast, DeAnna & Jeremy Lynch; 8 great-grandchildren, Joshua & Gabriel Trerise, Logan & Emily DeArmond, Kaitlyn, Anna & Jacob Wynn, Macie Dyer and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 10:00AM, Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
