Fern (Webster) Jones

Fern Webster was born on August 8, 1928, in Chandler, OK, and departed this life on Thursday, March 18, 2010, in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 81 years. Fern, the daughter of Acey Edwin and May Belle (McClain) Webster, was a long-time resident of Chandler. She married Nick Diaz and had three children. Later she married Robert O. Jones. Fern was a homemaker, local business women, and a member of the Meeker Church of Christ. Her parents, husbands, and one brother, Ed Webster, preceded Fern in death. Survivors include, daughter & son-in-law, Gloria & Randall Rogers of Shawnee, OK, sons & daughter-in-law, Nick Jr. & Julie Diaz of Kingston, OK, Richard Diaz of Kingston, OK, sisters, Blanch Susan Mathews of Sierra Vista, AZ, Mary Jackson of Apple Valley, CA, close friend, Mary Diaz of Chandler, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 2:00 P.M., at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Chandler with Brother Doyle Loveland officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
