Federick James Lee

Frederick James Lee was born on July 1, 1931, in Meeker, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years. Frederick, the son of Thomas & Lena (Engel) Lee, was a life-long Meeker resident. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Frederick married Ethel Pruitt on August 17, 1960, in Chandler, Oklahoma. Frederick worked at Tinker Air Force Base in security and then as a machinist. He was a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Meeker, Oklahoma and the Knight’s of Columbus. His parents, three brothers, two sisters and one grandson Survivors include, wife, Ethel of the home, one son & daughter-in-law, John & Roberta King of Meeker, OK, one daughter & son-in-law, Carla & Dennis Kinzell of Hazen, ND, two brothers & sisters-in-laws, Richard & Wanda Lee of Shawnee, OK, Forrest & Julie Lee of Meeker, OK, one sister, Dorothy O’Brien of Sparks, OK, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends. Prayer Vigil will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 7:00 PM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Meeker, Oklahoma. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, August 27, 2010, at St. Michaels’s Catholic Church in Meeker, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
