Faye Smith

Faye Ethel Smith was born on July 8, 1916, near Chandler, OK, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in Stroud, OK, at the age of 94 years. Faye, the daughter of David and Bertha (Miller) Wakley, was a long time resident of Davenport, OK. She married Clyde Smith on November 10, 1937 in Davenport. Faye was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Her parents, husband, one daughter - Norma, five sisters and four brothers preceded Faye in death. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Smith of Davenport, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2011, at the White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, Oklahoma with Rev. Michael Mitchell officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK.
