Fannie Malinda (Miller) Crain was born on January 8, 1925 in Newby, OK to Elba W. and Gailey (Smith) Miller and departed this life on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Stroud, OK at the age of 94. Fannie attended and graduated from Centerview High School in Pottawatomie County, OK. She was a homemaker most of her life. She worked for Prairie Valley School in Seminole County during the years her two boys were in school. In later years she worked at and retired from Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, OK Fannie married Ira Allen Crain in November 1945. They had two sons, Gary Allen Crain and William (Bill) Ambrose Crain. She was proceeded in death by her husband Ira on November 20th, 1993, along with her parents. Fannie is survived by her sons and daughters-in-laws, Gary and Barbara Crain of Prague and Bill and Louisa Crain of Moore. Brother James Miller of Stroud, sister-in-law Joan Miller of Stroud, Three granddaughters, Kim Hyden of Prague, Brandi Sapp of Seminole and Starling (Crain) Elliott of Maurice, LA. Two step grandsons Johnny Martinez of Midwest City and Gabe Jones of Moore, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and other family members. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Little Cemetery in Seminole, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Stroud, OK.
