Everett Pete Manek

Everett Pete Manek, age 69, of Harrah, was born July 26, 1945, in Harrah, Oklahoma. He was the son of Tom J. & Stella (Elcyzyn) Manek. He left this life on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in Harrah, OK. Everett attended the catholic school in Harrah until the 8th grade and then graduated from Harrah High School. He proudly served in the U. S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Everett enjoyed fishing, and old western movies. He was an avid OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed making $5.00 bets on Sunday night football games. Everett liked his cold beer and cigarettes. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tommy Joe Manek. He is survived by his son, Alfred Pete Manek, Perry, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Aimee & Bill Larsen, Oklahoma City, OK; sister & brother-in-law, Darlene & Louis Geissler, Harrah, OK; 4 grandchildren, Rylee Mosley, Gracee Mosley, Lane Larsen, Tyler Manek and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
