Everett D. Love

Everett D. ?Ed? Love, age 82, of Newalla, OK, was born on October 19, 1925 in Olustee, OK. He was the son of William C. & Sarah I. Austin Love. He left this life on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 in Norman, OK. Ed served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. during World War II. He married Elsbeth L. Stickel on March 19, 1948 in Stuttgart, Germany. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 30 years. Ed lived in Newalla for 47 years and was a member of the Newalla First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and furniture repair. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 2 sons, Dwaine & Frederick; 2 brothers, Bill & Junior. Survivors include 3 sons, Erich Love, Mark Love, Jeff & Ronda Love all of Newalla, OK; 2 daughters, Veronica & Terrial Leonard, Newalla, OK, Carla Sue & John Nelson, McLoud, OK; daughter-in-law, Donna Love, Moore, OK; brother, Bruce Love, Pink, OK; 3 sisters, Dorothy Damitz, Max Creek, MO, Marie Simpson, Altus, OK, Lorraine Cross, Lovington, NM; sister-in-law, Sigrid Lauritz, Stuttgart, Germany; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, November 16, 2007 at the First Baptist Church, Newalla, OK with Rev. Griff Henderson and Rev. Bill Derrick officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
