Eva Jean Smith

Eva Jean Smith, age 85, of Newalla, OK, was born August 11, 1927 in Atwood, OK. She was the daughter of Carl William & Annie (Howell) Cotton. She left this life on Saturday, November 24, 2012, in Norman, OK. Jean graduated from Atwood High School, Atwood, OK. She married Paul Smith on November 23, 1950. She owned & operated Paul's TV Repair in Oklahoma City for 15 years. Jean enjoyed watching sports and was a Padres baseball, OU Sooners and Thunder basketball fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul Smith and one son, Donald Wayne Smith. Survivors include 4 sons & daughter-in-law, Charles & Sandra Smith, Newalla, OK, Paul Smith, Jr., Newalla, OK, Mark Smith, Newalla, OK, Gary Smith, Yeager, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Paula & Don Marginson, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 2 sisters, Johncy Hair, Pauls Valley, OK, Joan Whitehead, Allen, OK; sister-in-law, Irene Smith; 17 grandchildren, Jeremy, Lisa, Bryan, Brandi, Shawn, Tony, David, Mark Jr., Amanda, Valerie, Joshua, Austin, Angel, Dede, Chris, Shawna & Donald; 36 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at 2:00PM at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
