Eugene Howard Birkicht was born on July 27, 1924, in Seminole County, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 91. Eugene, the son of Ira Oliver and Beulah Bell (Parsons) Birkicht, was a resident of Seminole. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Eugene worked as a truck driver for a box factory for over 17 years. Eugene’s parents, two infant sisters and one brother, Billy Ray Birkicht preceded him in death. Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law, Jeannie and Barry Whitten of Tulsa and Vickie Fry of Muskogee; grandchildren, Justin Fry of Muskogee, Jarrod Fry of Muskogee and Dora Burge of Tulsa; great grandchildren, Jacob and Charlotte Fry; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Delores Birkicht of Spencer, Fred and Dorothy Birkicht of Pineville, LA and Ira Charles Birkicht of Prague, sisters, Rosa Goforth of Seminole and Norma Lee Goss of Seminole; other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Doug Meshell officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
