Eugene Floyd Rogers

Eugene Floyd Rogers was born in Paden, Oklahoma on January 25, 1925 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Eugene was the son of William and Bertha (Pruitt) Rogers. Eugene was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma most of his life. He was in the United States Army were he served in WW II. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma, American Legion in Stroud, Oklahoma and owned and operated Rogers Trucking Company. He was past Mayor and Counsel Member for City of Stroud. He married Margie Ann Willingham in Okemah, Oklahoma on July 21, 1944. Margie preceded him in death on March 4, 2006. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one son, David. Survivors include, One Daughter, Betty Newman of Coshocton, OH, One Brother, LeRoy Rogers of Sacramento, CA, Five Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, Others relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Stroud, Oklahoma on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Brown Lee Davis and Joe Molencupp officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the directions Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
