Eugene F. Lewis

Eugene Forrest Lewis was born on April 30, 1929, in Kendrick, OK, and departed this life on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at his home in Chandler, at the age of 81 years. Eugene, the son of Dimple and Pearl (Boykin) Lewis, was a life-long Lincoln County resident. He married Josephine Maxwell in 1949 at Chandler. Eugene worked in the Construction for many years. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Chandler. He was preceded in death by his parents two sons, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include wife, Josephine of Chandler, four sons, Glen, Barry, Rodney, and Bradley Lewis all of Chandler, five daughters, Anita Garcia of Chandler, Annetta Lewis of Chandler, Marsha Lewis of Chandler, Tammy Lewis of Shawnee, OK, Becki Roberts of Shawnee, OK, one brother Don Lewis of Denton, TX, two sisters Helen Glover of Chandler and Frances Suggs of Oklahoma City, OK, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 4, 2011, at the Central Baptist Church in Chandler. With Rev. James E. Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Clear View Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK.
