Eugene Ernest Wright

Eugene Ernest Wright was bron in Welty, Oklahoma on Septembe 3, 1921 and departed this life in Norman, Oklahoma on June 17, 2005. He was 83. Eugene was the son of John Wright and Ethel Curry Wright Bynum. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a machinist by trade and had worked for the City Of Oklahoma City Water Department most recently. Eugene was married to Loydale Smith in Oklahoma City on May 19, 1946 and she preceded him in death on April 20, 1964. He was later married to the former Beverly Whited on February 15, 1985 and she also preceded him in death. He was a member of OneChurch in Midwest City. Survivors inlcude two daughters and sons in law: Anita & Herbert Atkins, Binger, OK; Brenda & Terry Hedgecock, Oklahoma City; three brothers, John Wright, Jr., Paden; Holland Wright, Paden; Donald Ray Bynum, Shawnee; Two sisters, Pauline Holcomb, Oklahoma City and Bonnie Moor, Perkins, OK; Three step-children, Ledon Snodgras, Oklahoma City, Penny Locke, Choctaw and Ricky Snodgras, Moore; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
