Ethlyn Beloncik, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on January 13, 1921, in Skeedee, Oklahoma, and departed this life on February 5, 2004, at her residence in Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years. Ethlyn was the daughter of Archie Verlin and Viola Flossie Johnson Gillock. She served in the United States Marine Corps during WWII. Ethlyn married Frank Beloncik in Fort Worth, Texas, on August 18, 1945. She worked many years with her husband Frank in their veterinary business in Chandler. Ethlyn was a homemaker and was a long-time member of the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler, Oklahoma. Her parents and husband and two grandchildren preceded Ethlyn in death. Survivors include: Five Sons and daughter-in-laws: Paul & Dian Beloncik of Chandler, OK; Chris & Terry Beloncik of Depew, OK; Jon & Darlene Beloncik of Chandler, OK; Philip & Kim Beloncik of Chandler, OK; Andrew & Debbie Beloncik of Chandler, OK; Three Daughters and son-in-laws: Susan Ball of Colorado Springs, CO; Martha & Larry Hendrickson of OKC, OK; Mary Ellen & George Cox of San Diego, CA; One Sister and brother-in-law: Maxine & Wayne Adkins of Stillwater, OK; 24 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends. Memorial may be made to the Caring Hands Hospice of Central Oklahoma 313 N. Fourth Ave., Stroud, OK 74079 A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:30 P.M. on February 8, 2004 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler, Oklahoma. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 9, 2004, at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler, with Father Louis VanderLey O.S.B., Father Richard Beckman and Father David Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Catholic Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
