Ethel Ruth Roberson

Ethel Ruth Roberson was born on August 27, 1920 in Cushing, OK and departed this life on August 14, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 98. Ethel was the daughter of Jacob and Alena (Barger) Lamb. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud. She was homemaker. Ethel loved to garden and can vegetable, she loved to collect antiques and go to auction. Ethel married Delmar Creed Roberson on February 26, 1955 in Cushing, OK. Delmar proceeded her in death on May 25, 2001. She was also proceeded in death by her parents, four brother, Charles, Dick, Phil and Raymond, and two sisters, Olive and Iva Lee. Survivors include one son Gary Roberson and wife Bitsy of Stroud, fours daughters Teri McElyea of Okemah, Dena Holman and husband David of Oklahoma City, Gayla Hein and husband Robert of Edmond, Jan Wishon and husband Mitch of Edmond, one sister Edith Moore of Cushing. Nine grandchildren Adele Wishon Rodriquez & husband Cristian, Laine Wishon, Daniel Hein, Rachel Hein & husband Stephen Mahoney, David Holman, Marilynn Holman McConnell & husband Adam, Clifton McElyea & wife Jamie, Jaime Wilkinson & husband Jay, Bon Roberson & wife Lacy, and great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Gravesides services will be held at the Stroud Cemetery on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 10;00 A.M. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud, OK.
