Ethel Burdina Lee, long-time Meeker, Oklahoma, resident was born on September 1, 1922, in Meeker, Oklahoma, and departed this life on March 7, 2013, in Meeker at the age of 90 years. Ethel was the daughter of John and Ella (Ramsey) Pruitt. She married Fred Lee on August 17, 1960, in Chandler, Oklahoma. Ethel worked as a waitress around the Meeker area for many years, and was a member of the Forrest Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and wife. Ethel loved her dog 'Pugs' and tending to her flowers. She was loyal to a fault to her family and people she loved. Her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters and two grandsons preceded Ethel in death. Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, John and Roberta King of Meeker, Oklahoma, one daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Dennis Kinzell of Meeker, Oklahoma, one sister, Carlene Kacere of Mesa, Arizona, three brothers, George and Jim Pruitt of Meeker, Oklahoma, and Billy Pruitt of Rusk, Texas. Six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, March 11, 2013, at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, with Rev. Dale Carney officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
