Ethel Clinkenbeard

Ethel 'Nan' Clinkenbeard was born on September 30, 1909, in Meeker, OK, and departed this life on Tuesday, July 5, 2005, in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 95. Ethel, the daughter of Silas Columbus and Dora Alice Honeycutt Taylor, was a resident of Meeker most of her life. She married Carl Franklin Clinkenbeard on October 13, 1929, in Chandler. He preceded Ethel in death on December 17, 1987. She was a homemaker and a 79-year member of the First Baptist Church in Meeker. Her parents; one daughter, Joy Clinkenbeard; two brothers; and one sister also preceded Ethel in death. Survivors include son, Jimmie Clinkenbeard of Meeker; daughter and son-in-law:Carlene and Tom Evans of Meeker; grandchildren, Donya Aylor and her husband Robin of Sparks, Tara Clinkenbeard of Meeker, Nadia Clinkenbeard of Meeker, Daryn Evans and his wife Tami of Chandler; great-grandchildren, Sharyn Renee Evans of Meeker, Levi Evans of Meeker, brother-in-law,Speck Clinkenbeard and his wife Lorene of Norman; sisters-in-law, Lela Clinkenbeard of Whiting, IA Nordia Waddell of Norman.
