Essie Faye Borcherding

Essie Faye Borcherding was born on April 30, 1929, in Duncan, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, June 14, 2010, in Meeker, OK, at the age of 81. Essie, the daughter of Samuel D. and Rose Allie (Warham) Knapp, was a resident of Wellston, OK. She married Billy Borcherding in Duncan, Oklahoma in 1947. Essie was a homemaker and a member of Mammoth Baptist Church. Her parents, Five brothers and three sisters preceded Essie in death. Survivors include, husband, Billy of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law, Donny and Debbie Borcherding of Wellston, OK, Kent & Jeri Borcherding of Shawnee, OK, 6 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 10:00 A.M., at Mammoth Baptist Church in Meeker with Rev. Mike Hazelwood officiating. Interment will follow at Rossville Cemetery in Wellston, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
