Emma Ruth Manning-Jones

Emma Ruth Manning Jones was born on April 18, 1922, in Memphis, Texas, and departed this life on Monday, January 19, 2009, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 86. Emma was the daughter of Clayton Harold and Myrtle Ella Neeley Brewer. She married Elmer E. Manning at Phoenix, Arizona in 1936 then later married Paul Jones. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, one daughter, four brothers and one sister. Survivors include two sons, Jack Manning of Chandler, OK.Delbert Manning of Davenport, OK. Two daughters Pat Baldridge of Chandler, OK. Shirley Ragsdale of Tahlequah, OK. One brother Roy D. Brewer of Casterville, TX. One sister Rayedell Nabors of Cordell, OK. Other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma at 10:00 AM on Friday January 23, 2009 with Rev. Keith Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
