Emily E. Coats

Emily Edna Coats, age 91, of Harrah, OK, was born on August 19, 1916, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of William & Augusta Kroll Kindt. Emily passed away on November 6, 2007, in Midwest City, OK. Emily was an administrative secretary for the Seventh day Adventist Church. She married Harold R. Coats on May 27, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan. Emily lived in Kimberling City, Missouri for 24 years. She was a member of the Summit Ridge Seventh day Adventist Church in Harrah, OK. Emily dearly loved to entertain guests in her home. Emily was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters. Survivors include her sister, Betty Bernard, Riverview, MI and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 9, 2007, at the Summit Ridge Seventh day Adventist Church, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
