Emilly Ann Woods

Emilly Ann Woods was born on October 10, 1987, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, April 16, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 23. Connor Morrison, the infant son of Emilly Ann Woods and Zachary Gideon Morrison, was born and went to Heaven on April 12, 2011. Emilly graduated from Meeker High School with the class of 2006, She received a Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma State University in 2010. She worked as the assistant manager of The Buckle. Emilly was a member of Alpha Delta Pi and a member of The Peoples Church in Oklahoma City. Emilly is survived by her partner, Zachary Gideon Morrison of Oklahoma City; parents, John Merle, Jr., and Deana Marie (King) Woods of Meeker; sister, Rachel Woods of Meeker; maternal grandfather, Jacky King of Shawnee; paternal grandmother, Ann Woods and her husband, Peter Cosgrove, of Shawnee; paternal grandfather, John, Sr., and his wife, Paulette Woods; paternal great-grandmothers, Viada Woods of Poteau, Elizabeth Farrar of Poteau, OK; Connor is survived by all of the above and, Father, Zachary Gideon Morrison of Oklahoma City; paternal grandparents, Robert Gideon Morrison, II, of Choctaw, Laura Morrison of Oklahoma City, Ray Fugate of Dallas, TX; great-grandparents, Shirley Morrison of Choctaw Barbara and Jim Rickey of Spencer; uncle, Jeremy Elam of Midwest City; aunt, Rachel Woods of Meeker. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee with Rev. Jimmy Don Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery in Dale. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
