Elvin L. Goodman

Elvin L. Goodman was born on February 14, 1928, in Chandler, OK, and departed this life on Monday, January 19, 2009, in Cushing, OK, at the age of 80. Elvin, the son of Rufus and Marie Conley Goodman, was a live-long resident of Chandler. He graduated from Chandler High School in 1946. Elvin married Margaret R. Rikard on January 16, 1948, in Davenport, OK. He worked as a funeral director for many years. Elvin was a long time member of the Chandler First Baptist Church. His parents, wife, sister and son-in-law preceded Elvin in death. Survivors include, Two sons & daughter-in-law, Jerry Goodman of Chandler, OK, Mike & Stephanie Goodman of Chandler, OK, Daughter, Rita Dudley of Cushing, OK, Brothers & sisters-in-law, Edward & Ernie Goodman of Ponca City, OK, Roy & Margie Goodman of Plant City, FL, Three granddaughters, Ashley Goodman of Stillwater, OK, Mallory & Sarah Goodman of Chandler, OK. Good friend, Isabelle McGuire of Chandler, OK. Other relatives and many friends Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 10:00 A.M., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, OK, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, in Chandler, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
