Elsie Ellen Thompson

Elsie Ellen Thompson, age 92, of Harrah, OK, was born on February 18, 1915 in Prague, OK. She was the daughter of William Thomas & Rhoda Ellen Cope Selby. She left this life on January 28, 2008, in Midwest City, OK. Elsie worked in nursing for 38 years in Oklahoma City, Harrah, Shawnee and Stroud. She was a member of the Harrah Church of Christ. Elsie enjoyed crocheting, loved to listen to her bible tapes and taking care of her dog, Ted. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie; daughter, Glenna; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by 2 step-sons & spouses, Glenn & Iva Lee Thompson, Tatum, NM, Hugh Charles Thompson, Harrah, OK; 3 step-daughters & spouses,Charlene & Bill Crossland, Choctaw, OK, Doris Pettiet, Harrah, OK, Joan & Robert Levy, Pueblo, CO; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the Church of Christ, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
