Ellenor Mae Ryan, Harrah, OK, age 90, was born on September 5, 1920, in Dawson, New Mexico. She was the daughter of Terry M. & Dollie Mae (Lemme) Cook. She departed this life on Thursday, October 14, 2010, in Harrah, OK. Ellenor married Lawrence A. Ryan on September 6, 1936, in Gotebo, OK. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK and was a homemaker. Ellenor enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking and fishing. Ellenor was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Terry Cook, Jr., Neil Thomas Cook, two sisters, Nell Rogers and Joe Olson. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Alvis & Sharon Ryan, Harrah, OK; 2 daughters, Lillie Mae Ryan, Harrah, OK, Myrtle Aline Macom, Harrah, OK; sister,June McGlathery, Del City, OK; 2 brothers, Jerry Cook, Oklahoma City, OK, Augusta Cook, Choctaw, OK; 5 grandchildren, Robert Macom, Cheryl Tays, Holly Vernon, Angie Cordes, Nancy Knox; 13 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at Bethel Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK, with Rev. Royce Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
