Ella Mae Dotson

Ella Mae Dotson, long time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on November 12, 1927 in Wellston, Oklahoma, and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on September 8, 2007, at the age of 79 years Ella was the daughter of Oliver Edgar and Rosa Alice Saak Sapp. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma. Her parents, one son, James Edger, preceded her in death. Survivors include husband, James Dotson of the home. One son, Richard Lee Dotson of Dallas, TX. One daughter & son-in-law, Karen Sue & Dennis McAbee of Elk City, Ok. One brother William Robert Sapp of Perryton, TX. Three sisters Martha Marie Gray of Fritch, TX., Mary Ellen Paine of Stroud, OK., Mable Alice Schofield of Wellston, OK. 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.Other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating, burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
