Elizabeth Marie Kupczynski

Elizabeth ?Liz? Marie Kupczynski age 77, of Harrah, OK, was born on March 10, 1930 in Stanton, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Lonnie & Bertha Raines Tipton. She departed this life on Thursday, September 20, 2007, in Midwest City, OK. Liz moved to Oklahoma City at the age of 14 and met her ?sis? Olive. Liz was a punch press operator at L & S Bearing for over 40 years. She spent many years working her popcorn stand at the Oklahoma State Fair. She loved her grandchildren and they all called her ?Me-Maw?. Liz was an avid bingo player and she loved riding the ?bingo bus? with her friends. She was a #1 Harrah Panther fan and always supported the basketball and football teams. Liz never met a stranger and was always on the go and would do anything for anyone. Johnnie & Liz made their home just northwest of Harrah for 30 years. If you were a visitor in their home, you were treated to coffee and she always had something good to eat. She would get up early each morning, get the coffee on, water the cows, then feed carrots to ?Oscar? her dog. She loved to cook for the holidays and of course Christmas was just another reason to spoil the grandkids. Liz was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Brenda Warren and Linda Warren; step-son, Joe Rogers; three brothers; one sister; previous spouse, Gene ?Smokie? Rogers; previous spouse, Jack Edward Warren and her friends & ?bingo buddies? Aunt Lene, Olive, Helen & Lois. Survivors include her husband, Johnnie P. Kupczynski, Harrah, OK; 3 sons & daughters-in-law, Jack & Marie Warren, Harrah, OK, Jimmy & Kathy Rogers, Harrah, OK, Larry Rogers, OKC, OK; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Lola Teague, Stillwater, OK, Glenda & Rick Thornburg, Tecumseh, OK, Cindy & Mike Anglin, Midwest City, OK; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to send a special thank you to special nephew, Michael Ray Kupczynski, his wife, Marie and their family for all their love, help and care. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6pm to 9pm Monday, September 24, 2007, at Smith-Parks Funeral Service, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, OK. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Alan Loth officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
