Elizabeth Ann Gillham

Elizabeth Ann Gillham of Prague, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the age of 84. Elizabeth was born on February 4, 1937 in Ada, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William Rufus "WR" and Lucille Beatrice (Nelson) Stephens. She graduated from Fox High School. After high school, Elizabeth, attended and graduated from East Central University in Ada. While at East Central, Elizabeth met her husband, Charles Donald Gillham. Following her graduation from East Central, Elizabeth started a career in education. Elizabeth taught English and Journalism in Colorado, Bowlegs and Prague Public Schools. Following her retirement from teaching, she worked for many years for Hinson Insurance Agency. Elizabeth also served as a Worthy Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a dedicated and active member of the Prague Free Will Baptist Church. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Donald Gillham; her son, Charles Donald Gillham Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Helen Gillham; her son-in-law, Tony Price and her parents, WR and Lucille Stephens. She is survived by her daughter, Gwynell Price; her grandson, Jerad Gillham and his wife, Michelle; her grandson, Michael Price; great-grandchildren, Kendal Gillham, Sydney Gillham, Shawn Price, Tommy Price, Scylus Price, and Bexley Price; brother-in-law, Paul Gillham; brother-in-law and Leonard Gillham. She is also survived by a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a Memorial fund has been set up at Vision Bank in Elizabeth Gillham's name.
