Elenora D. Coleman

Elenora D. Coleman was born on July 25, 1921, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on September 9, 2013, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 92. Elenora, the daughter of Jim and Lillie May Newell, was a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Prague High School in 1939. She married Lawrence Leo “Buck” Coleman on September 5, 1940, in Paden, Oklahoma. She and her husband were the owners of the laundromat in Prague for many years. Her parents, husband, and nephew, Michael McCarty preceded her in death. Survivors include: Sons and daughter-in-law, Jim Coleman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and David and Donna Coleman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kent and Teresa Coleman of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Darla Fulton of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; great grandsons, Justin Coleman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Brandon and Brian Wilson of Berryhill, Oklahoma; great step-grandchildren, Kristin and Jamye Davis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; nieces and husbands, Susie and Rick Fitzgerald of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Carol and Jim Page of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; nephew and wife, Michael McCarty (deceased) and wife Marilyn; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on September 12, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague with Bros. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
