Eldon "Scotty" Scott

Eldon Leon 'Scotty' Scott, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born October 4, 1933, in Roff, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 11, 2017, in Chandler, at the age of 83 years. Scotty was the son of Ervin and Mamie (Harville) Scott . He grew up and attended school in Roff, Oklahoma. He later moved to Lawton, Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, and then to Chandler. Scotty married Lynda Scott on November 12, 1966. He was a jack of all trades, having numerous jobs over the years. Scotty enjoyed baseball, watching John Wayne movies, playing slot machines, spending time with his family, telling stories and being ornery. His parents, three children, Vance, Liz, and Dee, one brother Kenneth, and one sister, Carol preceded Scotty in death. Survivors include his wife, Lynda, three sons and daughters-in-law, Eldon Jr. and Teresa Scott, of Alba Missouri, Donald and Carol Dilday of Guthrie, Oklahoma, and Jeffery and Lisa Scott of Oklahoma City, two daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Kelley of Oklahoma City, Jackie and Lance Bohon of Newalla, Oklahoma, sixty three grandchildren and counting, three sisters, Irene Barton of Norman, Oklahoma, Julia Gosselin of Wellston, Oklahoma, and Donna Landon of Wellston, other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kaycee Funk officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
