Elden Leo "Cotton" Smith

Elden Leo 'Cotton' Smith was born on June 14, 1920, in Prague, OK, and departed this life on Tuesday, December 13, 2005, in Prague, OK, at the age of 85. Cotton, the son of Noah Thomas and Viola Roberts Smith, was a life-long resident of Prague. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He served in the Pacific arena during World War II. During the Korean conflict, he was an Army engineer. Cotton was wounded during both tours of duty. His parents; his wife of 60 years, Dora Bernice Perry Smith; six brothers; two sisters, one grandson; and one son-in-law, preceded Cotton in death
