Elden Dale Childress

Elden Dale Childress was born on December 29, 1961, in San Diego, California, and departed this life on Saturday, January 10, 2015, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 53. Elden, the son of Jesse Houston and Bertha Catherine (Durham) Childress, was a resident of Meeker. His father and sister, Charlotte (Childress) Moon, preceded Elden in death. Survivors include: his mother, Bertha Childress of Meeker; brothers and sisters, Houston Childress of Meeker, Denver and Morna Childress of Shawnee, Sherri Childress Buchanan and Lonnie of Chandler, Debra Childress Brink of Sparks and Flora Childress of Meeker; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and numerous other family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Sunnyside-Pickett Cemetery in Meeker. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
