Edward Frank Malaske

Edward Frank Malaske, age 76, of Harrah, OK, was born June 19, 1937, in Harrah, OK. He was the son of Frank John & Mary (Drew) Malaske. He left this life on Thursday, May 8, 2014, in Harrah, OK. Ed graduated from Harrah High School in 1955 and proudly served in the Oklahoma National Guard. He and Delores Manek were married on September 29, 1962, in Harrah, OK. Ed was a heavy equipment and backhoe operator for many years. He was also a retired volunteer fireman for Harrah. Ed was a lifelong member of St. Teresa Catholic Church of Harrah, the Knights of Columbus and an honorary member of the Harrah FFA. He enjoyed farming, raising cattle, playing dominoes and visiting with all his friends. He was very devoted to his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stanley. He is survived by his wife, Delores Malaske, Harrah, OK; son & daughter-in-law, Scott & Sonja Malaske, Harrah, OK; daughter, Debbie Bradshaw, Harrah, OK; 3 sisters, Angie Patton, Harrah, OK, Rosalie Jamieson, Las Vegas, NV, Cathy Johnson, Midwest City, OK; 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Baylen, Brayden, Shayla, Lexi 1 great-grandchild on the way and many other relatives and friends. The Wake will be 7:00 P.M., Monday, May 12, 2014, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Afterward at approximately 7:30 P.M, the family will be visiting with friends in the Family Activity Center at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Prakash Madineni officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
