Edward "Ed" Quary

Edward “Ed” Sidney Quary was born on April 28, 1932, in Subiaco, Arkansas, and departed this life on Sunday, October 11, 2009, in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 77. Ed, the son of Sidney Wilkins and Emily Jane (Mitchel) Quary, was a resident of Prague, Oklahoma. He married Helen Elizabeth Robertson on February 8, 1980, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Ed was a roofer and a member of Roofers Union #143. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters, and one great-grandchild, Hunter Quary. Survivors include wife, Helen Elizabeth Quary of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Edward “Buster” and Mellonie Quary of Prague, Delbert Matney of Norman, David and Denise Matney of Moore; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Bob Adkisson of Prague, Sharen Butterfield of Prague, Julie and Sanford Daniel of Shawnee, Shelly Kerr of Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law, John L. and Gayle Quary of Prague; sisters and brothers-in-law, Frank and Sharon Quary of Stroud, Benny and Mary Joyce Quary of Prague, Margaret and Gary Cochran of Stroud, Cora Nell and Jim Eastep of Paden, Norma Austin of Prague, Pearl Lopez of Prague; grandchildren, Jeremy and Kerri Quary, Jessica and Mikey Covey, Brian and Jenny Adkisson, Jennifer Butterfield, Dawn Butterfield, Drake and Jennifer Matney, Elizabeth and Tommy McGinnis, Michael and Shawn Jack, Megan and J.T. Brewington, Tracie Matney, Josh Matney, Lindsey Matney, and Tyler Matney; eleven great-grandchildren.
