Edward Earl Ross

Edward Earl Ross, Jr. was born on December 9, 1924, in Morris, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, December 25, 2008, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Edward, the son of Edward Earl, Sr. and Hazelwood Leach Ross , was a resident of Prague, Oklahoma. He married Delores Jean Johnson on October 23, 1948 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. Edward was a member of the First Baptist Church. Edward retired from Goodno''s Jewelry in Norman four years ago and on the side was a self-employed clock and watch repair man. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Delores Jean Ross; daughters and sons-in-law, RaJeanna and Stan Waggoner of Watonga, Linda Sue and Phillip Brown of Prague and Theresia and David Nance of Edmond; brother and sister-in-law, Alan Keith and Wanda Ross of Oklahoma City; sister, Reubena Tower of Stillwater; 7 Grandchildren; and 8 Great-grandchildren.
