Ednamae Marsh

Ednamae Marsh was born on April 22, 1917, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, November 17, 2011, in Ada, Oklahoma, at the age of 94. Ednamae, the daughter of Samuel Hopkins and Roxie Ethel (Hobbs) Thompson, was a life-long resident of Prague. She married Noel Marsh on September 4, 1938, in the Pleasant Home area near Prague. Ednamae worked in partnership with her husband farming for over 50 years. Noel preceded her in death on September 22, 2001. Her parents, brother, and sister also preceded Ednamae in death. Survivors include her son, Bill Marsh of Prague; daughters and son-in-law, Judith Cowden of Adam Cindy and Mike Irwin of Yukon; sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Glenn Hecker of Prague; Sisters-in-law, Juanita Coffey of Prague, Hope Emerson of Grants Pass, OR; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. The Marsh family will receive friends on Sunday, November 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM, at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
