Edna Marie Sears

In Loving Memory of Edna Marie Sears:

Edna was born on Christmas day in 1927 and passed away on January 27 at 96 years old. She left this world surrounded by the love of family and friends, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Edna graduated from Meeker High School in 1946. She was a telephone operator, a night watchman, a hairdresser and an avid OKC Thunder fan but the thing she loved most was her family. Edna was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Edna, the daughter of John J. and Martha (Bingham) Webb married John Wesley Sears

September 12, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Barbara and Hal Allen of Tulsa, Lynn and Wade Myers of Tulsa, Paula and Michael McNulty of Hennessey, Debbie and Gary Stell of Meeker and Wes Sears of Tulsa. Grandchildren Terra and David Hodge, Toli Stell, Gary Stell Jr., Johnna and Chris Higgins and Lyndsey and John Maggard. She leaves behind 12 great grandchildren. Mary Stell, Lyndsey Stell, Will Hodge, Sadie Stell, Ashlyn Hodge, Cody Stell, Corbin Maggard, Lauren Stell, Caylee Maggard, Kaitlyn Stell, Sydney Stell, Camryn Maggard. They will forever hold precious memories of a life lived fully and with love, and her absence will be deeply

felt by all those who were touched by her presence.

Edna brought joy, laughter, and warmth to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She touched the lives of many with kindness, generosity, and uncanny wit. She was a trusted confidant and true friend. Her delivery of pointed truth was a definitive sign of her love.

Edna faced life's challenges with grace and resilience, teaching those around her the importance of perseverance and optimism. Her unwavering spirit will continue to inspire us in the days to come.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague. Burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, OK.

As we mourn the loss of Edna, let us remember her not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the beautiful moments shared and the everlasting impact she made on our lives. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
