Edna Lou Wallis, Harrah, OK, age 71, was born on January 28, 1938, in Midland, Texas. She was the daughter of William Lee & Geneieve 'Babe' (Lee) Mayfield. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, in Harrah, OK. Edna was a housewife and loving mother. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, and also taking care of and following her children and grandchildren. Edna was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Cloyce Dean Wallis, Sr., of the home; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Cloyce Dean Wallis, Jr. & Stacy Ann, Tecumseh, OK, William Theodore Wallis & Theresa Graham, McLoud, OK; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Terry Dee & Jerry Don Leach, Harrah, OK, Jerry Lee & Arther Louis Atwood, McLoud, OK; 5 brothers & spouses, Bill & Juanita Mayfield, Lamesa, TX, Arthur & Irene Mayfield, Rayne, LA, Brook Lee & Jane Mayfield, Hico, TX, George Mayfield, Odessa, TX, Don & June Mayfield, Phoenix, AZ; 2 sisters, Lillie Mae Smith, Pipe Creek, TX, Marchelle Jones, Bloomington, TX; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 17, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, Newalla, OK, with Pastor Theresa Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Jones IOOF Cemetery, Jones, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
