Edna C. Glenn was born October 19, 1928, to Joseph Patrick "Joe" and Ethel (Wilson) Carroll near Hinton, OK, and attended East Walnut School. She retired from Tinker Air Force base after 30 years of service. Edna passed from this life at the age of 95 at her home in Del City, Oklahoma, on March 30, 2024.
She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Edna was known for having a beautiful lawn and flowerbeds. She loved working in her yard and creating new beds for flowers and shrubs.
She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Sunnylane Baptist Church until failing health prevented her from attending.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gordon Carroll and his wife Juanita; sister, Agnes Hoselton and her husband Orval; sister, Helen Brackett and her husband Ed; brother J.C. Carroll; son-in-law Chuck Lackey; nieces Vicky Harvey and Pat Cadell; nephews, Dwayne Hoselton and Jerry Ray Carroll; and great-niece Emily Wilds.
She is survived by son Dennis Glenn and his wife Leda; daughter Debbie Lackey; grandson Ray Lackey and his wife Shae; great-granddaughter Kimiko Lackey; great-grandsons Keanu and Stellan Lackey; sister-in-law Vonda Carroll, and numerous other family and friends.
Special thanks to the Heartland Hospice nurses and staff for their care and compassion during Edna’s illness and final days. Also, thank you to Ann Reynolds for her kindness and assistance to the family.
