Edith Annabelle Melton went to rest on November 14, 2004. She was born May 16, 1918, in Caney, Oklahoma to George F. Pyles and Virdie Richardson Pyles. Edith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Wade C. Melton; son, Donnie J. Melton, and two sisters. Survivors include 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Royce D. & Connie Melton, Anadarko, OK, Bobby C. & Linda Melton, Broken Arrow, OK; 1 sister & brother-in-law, Geneva & Bob Moore, Midwest City, OK; special sister-in-law & husband, Mae & Dillard Smith, Pima, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Donna S. & Glenn Hoffman, Del City, OK, Bobbie Lynn Perry, Broken Arrow, OK, Julie Melton, Broken Arrow, OK, Jeremy & Monica Melton, Broken Arrow, OK, Brian K. Melton, Tuttle, OK and 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Johnny Wray officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, Oklahoma.
