Edith Ann Davis

Edith Ann Davis, long-time, Wellston, Oklahoma, resident, was born April 4, 1947, in Drumright, Oklahoma, and departed this life February 11, 2016, in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 68 years. Edith Ann was the daughter of Lloyd and Anna Mae (Cunningham) Donaldson. She married Burton Davis on March 14, 1963, in Wellston, Oklahoma. Edith Ann worked as a janitor for Wellston Public Schools for many years. Her parents, and two sisters preceded Edith Ann in death. Survivors include, her husband of 52 years, Burton, of the home; one son, Richard Lee Davis of Wellston; three brothers, Lloyd Donaldson of Sacramento, California, Tommy Donaldson of Wellston, Oklahoma, and Keith Stewart of Wellston; one sister, Vonnie Riley, Enid, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston, with Rev. Lane Buckley officiating. Burial will follow at Wellston Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
