Edd Pernicka

Edd Pernicka was born on May 28, 1920, in Prague, OK, and departed this life on Sunday, October 9, 2005, at his home in Prague at the age of 85. Edd, the son of Tom and Frances Sekera Pernicka, was a life-long resident of Prague. He married Margie Beryl Riddle on April 18, 1942 in Anadarko, OK. She preceded him in death on December 12, 2003. Edd served his country in the South Pacific during World War II in the United States Army. He was a farmer, a member of the Church of Christ, ZCBJ, and the American Legion. His parents; one brother, Emil Pernicka; and one sister, Bessie Pernicka, also preceded Edd in death. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and Tommie Pechacek of Prague and Barbara and Chester Loafman of Prague; sister-in-law, Pearl Pernicka; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
