Ed Thomas Green

Ed Thomas Green was born on January 21, 1946, in Ada, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 64. Ed, the son of Luther Thomas and Etta Mae (Hale) Green, was a resident of the Meeker area and a graduate of Byng High School. He retired from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1141 where he worked as an electrician for many years. He was a member of the Living Waters Tabernacle. Ed married Bernice Stone on January 8, 1973, in Oklahoma City. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include wife, Bernice Green of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Berry Green of Sherman, Texas, David and Tonia Pollock of Meeker, Thomas Pollock of Michigan; brother and sister-in-law, Luther and Donna Green of Byars; sister and brother-in-law,Vickie and Johnny Johnson of Inola; grandchildren, Josie, Bradley, and thirteen other grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM, at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker with Rev. Donna Morton officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
