Earl Ellis Hilburn

Earl Ellis Hilburn was born in Cooperton, Oklahoma on August 13, 1933 and departed this life in Oklahoma City on April 10, 2009 at the age of 75 years. Earl was the son of William Ellis and Alta Ola Jones Hilburn. Earl was a resident of Stroud area most of his life. He married June Batchlor Burns in Chandler, Oklahoma on July 7, 1989. Earl was in the United States Army where he served in the Korean Conflict. He retired as foreman for Kitchen Oil Company in Stroud. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, Susan, grandson, Jimmy, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. Survivors include, Wife, June of the home, Two Sons, Herbie Hilburn of Okmulgee, OK, Ricky Hilburn of Davenport, OK, Two Daughters, Annette Webb of Stroud, OK, Vickie Wilson of Chandler, OK, Three Brothers, Roy Hilburn of Bristow, OK, Robert Hilburn of Moore, OK, Carl Hilburn of Meeker, OK, Two Sisters, Gladys Zacharias of Gotebo, OK, Gloria Johnson of Sacramento, CA, Nineteen Grandchildren, Seventeen Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 10:00 A. M. with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
