Dorothy Lee Gordon

Dorothy Lee Gordon was born on January 1, 1926, in Mountain View, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, April 9, 2011, in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 85. Dorothy, the daughter of William and Edith Mae (Boyd) Mabry, was a resident of Seminole. She married Henry Clay Gordon on December 1, 1945 in Carnegie, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2010. Dorothy was a homemaker and a 4-H Club Leader. Her parents and two sisters also preceded Dorothy in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Henry Lee and Susan Gordon of Seminole; daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Vernon Pickett of Seminole; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Roberta Mabry of Elk City, Jessie and Ruth Mabry of Carnegie, Bill Mabry of Claremore, Ed and Helen Mabry of Bedford, TX, Johnnie and Joyce Mabry of Carnegie, Dean and Beverly Mabry of Oklahoma City; sister and brother-in-law, Lena and Thurman Evans of Ft. Cobb; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole County. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
