Dorothy Jane Waner

Dorothy Jane Waner, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born July 27, 1950, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and departed this life November 21, 2016, at her home in Chandler at the age of 66 years. Dorothy was the daughter of John Oliver and Dorothy Kay (King) Weigand. She married David Gerald Waner, November, 1982. Dorothy worked as an artist and rancher for many years, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chandler. Her parents, preceded Dorothy in death. Survivors include, her husband David of the home; one daughter, Amanda Kay Cook of Yukon, Oklahoma; one brother, Thomas Straw Sr., of Ohio; and one grandson, James; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Bruce Newby officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
